The Corporate Prayer Ministry of the (GEMBC) is a ministry that is called to faithfully embody
and express a heart for prayerful worship and praise; and is thereby positioned to encourage,
empower, and equip individuals of our worshipping community to faithfully seek the face of
God our Father earnestly and truthfully through prayerful worship and praise.
DVine Connections Ministry
The Divine Connections Family Ministry vision at Greater Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church is to provide opportunities – specifically for married couples , those thinking about marriage, and congregants – to strengthen their family relationships and their relationship with God through worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and mission in order to inspire hope, bring healing, and the development of relational skills to our families in order
to strengthen our communities.
Shepherd's Care
The Greater Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church’s Shepherd’s Care Ministry’s vision is to see God’s love expressed to our Pastor and his wife through the biblical wisdom of Galatians 6:6 which teaches us that "one who is taught the word must share all good things with the one who teaches"
Greater Elizabeth Announcer’s Guild
People charged to keep the congregation and community informed of the various ministries and activities; to motivate spiritual, educational, and social awareness.
Hospitality/Greeters Ministry Team
The Hospitality/Greeters Ministry mission is to create a positive environment at Greater Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church (GEMBC) that is conducive to love and compassion for the everyone no matter their walks of life.
Light of Love Prison Ministry
Our mission is to provide religious services, including but not limited to, letter writing, Christian -based literature, CDs as well as structured bible classes for those incarcerated in penal institutions and prisons.
Lights of Healing
The purpose of the Lights of Healing Ministry is to assist those affected by substance abuse and addictive behavior with holistic intervention and treatment. Additionally, we strive to educate the faith -based community and community at large about the hazards of substance abuse in hopes of preventing addictive behaviors.
Ministerial Alliance
The purpose of the Ministerial Alliance is to equip those who have expressed a divine calling
upon their lives to teach the Doctrine of Jesus Christ, do the work of an evangelist, labor as
servant leaders and minister to all, locally and abroad.
Rescue Outreach Ministry
To provide holistic community based services to families and individuals of the community who are encountering distressing life transitions and empower them to self -sufficiency emotionally, financially, and spiritually.
Youth Ministry
To reconcile youth back to God, themselves and their communities by promoting and developing a spiritual maturity that leads to personal, relational and educational success.
